alias_sqbrI haven't said anything about the whole Queensland flooding thing since I didn't feel like I had anything very helpful to say, but I just scrolled through my tumblr and there was nothing about it and I thought about how any of my Queenslander friends (who still have the internet :( ) might feel if it seemed to be being ignored. EDIT: And then I totally forgot my fellow Western Australians in Canarvon, who've also had flooding!
So: Wow! Floods! Inland tsunamis, wtf! I hope you guys and your friends and families are all ok.

I think mostly getting my news via rss loses some of the visceral quality of watching it on the tv, it didn't 100% hit me how huge this all is until seeing it on the tv today.
