So! I will be in Melbourne in a week(!) and was wondering if people wanted to come visit me in my hotel, at the Hyatt South wharf. You would probably have to visit me: I will hopefully be up to going out and doing some stuff, but there's no guarantees and I'd rather organise things assuming the worst rather than have to cancel stuff.

Will probably have to do one or two "this is a time people can visit" times since the rest of the time will plausibly be spent resting. If you don't have a dw account or need to give extra info just leave a comment (I might do an lj poll too but I'm lazy).

I would love love LOVE to visit before the con but may have to cancel at the last minute for my own health issues, obviously. Also I'll be in my powerchair if I make it over - is your accom accessible?

Also my flatmate's moving out on the 28th of Sept so I may be busy having a nervous breakdown which may mean (a) I don't wanna get out of bed or see anybody or (b) I need company. Not sure which, I vary randomly, it seems.

Now I am suddenly feeling shy and like you perhaps wouldn't think you know me well enough for visiting or wouldn't want to see me or something. So please feel free to refuse if you don't want!

it is striking me that some of these times are possible for me, but that there is a certain irony to trying to catch up with you in a completely different state. I was hoping to organise dinner somewhere on the Wednesday night, but I haven't got that organised yet.
