alias_sqbrJust because I need to get this off my chest before Cam gets home since he hasn't played the game yet :)
Spoilers for the game in general and Commoner Dwarf origin in particular.
I have gotten quite attached to the characters in this game and am not always fantastic at drawing the line between my opinions/experiences and those of my character Martya (you'll note the pronoun shifts in this post :)). Ever since finishing the origin story I've been wondering how the character's best friend Leske and sister have been doing after being left behind in the dwarf city Orzammar.
So. Martya got together with Alaistair. I was curious to know how the dialogue options would have changed so chose the only new one "Where do you see this going" and he got all huffy that things were complicated right now and why was I bringing it up and his approval went down ten points! I got annoyed (Oh I see, it's all "Oooh, I love you" before we have sex then afterwards Ancestors forbid we talk about our feelings) and then was amused at myself for being annoyed given how often I want to slap him upside the head.
And then we went to Orzammar and everyone was so classist and mean! And Martya's sister was putting me under all this pressure to support the Prince but I thought he might be a murderer but I didn't really like the other guy either and I didn't know what to dooooo. And then LESKE BETRAYED ME and I had to kill him! Then I went into the mines and it was this creepy horror thing which freaked me out and I had to kill a Paragon! (The Paragons are like saints to the dwarves) And then I couldn't bring myself to support the Prince and had to kill him and now I'm sure Martya's sister hates her and she will never meet her nephew :(
And then I decided to have a break.
And then I played some more and Zevran betrayed me and I had to kill him too! NOBODY LOVES MARTYA :( :( (Ok, Alaistair still does, and Wynne and Leliana seem pretty solidly happy with her, but that's only because I've been OOC and not ranted about stupid humans and their stupid human gods(*))
*sigh* Right, and now I feel better, albeit just a little unhinged.
EDIT: AND THEN ALISTAIR DIED o.O D: D:
And I didn't feel like going back to an earlier save so he wouldn't die since Zevran would still be dead and I would never get to be queen (I got Anora coronated but Alistair kept talking about how he was going to be king anyway ack)
