Am feeling very odd. Can someone IM me infamyanonymous's phone number so I can sms her if need be to say I am too sick to have her visit? (The 3am insomnia post implies she may not be up to IM me herself :))

(nb by odd I mean insomniac plus I keep randomly smelling a wierd bleach-ish chemical smell. I thought it was my pillow or something but experimentation implies it's in my head, either literally or figuratively. Googling suggests a wide range of possibilities, my throats a bit off too so I'm pondering sinisitis?)

*tries again to sleep*

I should mention, that icon is exactly what I have planned for today. Down to the cat sitting on my laptop keyboard.

Heightened senses when over-tired are a common symptom, I believe. In my really bad days I would take this to the extent of outright hallucinations, though normally it was restricted to just over-sensitivity to bright lights and loud noises and, yes, smells. Just ignore it and like all things it will pass.

I didn't get any hallucinations after having been awake for fifty hours. Had been looking forward to them. :(

(Looked forward to getting some sleep more, though, so.)

LOL

I don't know if you have CFS, but I was actually talking about that sort of tiredness, not simple lack of sleep. They are qualitatively quite different. I actually rather like the feeling of not having had enough sleep - it is such a simple, normal sort of tiredness compared to CFS tiredness, and the light headedness is almost pleasant.

No CFS, just insomnia; I have no idea how they'd match up (I have had minor hallucinations with the insomnia).

I had a look around the yuletart site and saw the cross stich fanart one and went "I've done cross strich (ten years ago)! how hard could THAT be?" but thankfully my dire lack of money has stopped me going out and buying thread!
