For anyone who hasn't seen it Anli and Laura's awesome wedding. Companion cube cake people. With Revolutionary Girl Utena cake toppers! And just..the prettiest dresses *shakes fist at the Australian government for not letting it be legal*

I had something else I was going to say, but I forgot it, and my brain won't let me wait to post this until I remember. Oh well.

Having seen their gorgeous cosplay at Swancon and the meticulous aesthetics Laura put into even little notes at work, when she said they were engaged I was knew it was going to be the most beautiful wedding ever :) And of course it's lovely seeing them so happy.

I didn't know that you and Laura worked together! At Health?

I love the detail on Anli's dress so much. SO MUCH.

Absolutely beautiful and so suited to their personalities.

Now, i know them from Swancon, but should i know them from elsewhere? And at least one of the bridesmaids is from UniSFA? My mind has gome embarrassingly blank.

The cake is awesome, and both brides look absolutely gorgeous. Weddings should be something special to both people, not just a ceremony for the sake of ceremony, and these two did it :)

Funnily enough, this came across my corset Lj that I read! I thought I recognized some of the people in in. The dresses and other DIY were amazing.

I have toyed with putting our wedding up on Offbeat Bride, but was not sure I wanted all of our personal details online.

Anli was in UniSFA. And one of the bridesmaids is April! Who not only was in UniSFA but was on a Swancon Committee.

Dawww! Thanks for linking, I didn't know when the knot was being tied.
My god, that is a stunningly beautiful wedding. The details on the cake (so cute!) and the dresses and even the little companion cube gift boxes! And aww, so fitting and celebratory of them, not just standard issue which wouldn't have been right for those gals.
(Only know them vaguely from GenghisCon but they're so sweet together!)

Gosh, not one but two stunning and different wedding gowns! Love Anli's little bolero; loli cute!

Awww. So very happy for the both of them.

It's a real shame they had to move East, and a bigger one that can't make Swancon anymore.
