Good Podiatrists?

Ah yes, mining your little brains for information again :) I need to see a podiatrist, any recs?

I had a business card for one but have lost it, along with the pretty little box it was in with all my other business cards/old library cards etc. Hmm. Hopefully it's just hidden under a pile of computer books and Star Trek collectible cards etc in one of the boxes littering the house I think of only as "Cameron's Stuff". (I know what's in my boxes)

Every time I go to unisfa I am reminded that I need to spend more time around people-who-aren't-Cam(*), my social skills are decidedly rusty. But as always I'm a bit overwhelmed by all the tasks competing for my time and attention, and my social life bears the brunt. I guess Swancon and the wedding count as social events though :)

(*)At this point in our relationship he's so easy to be around it doesn't need social skills. Awww. (Doesn't mean I can't offend him by, say, implying he's a disorganised geek :))

Why I like Gen

Ok, all the recent talk about gen on metafandom has inspired me to go through what gen means to me and why I like it. This will be of absolutely no interest to anyone who doesn't read fanfic (and possibly not even then), sorry to the majority of my flist but I had to post it somewhere and my lj seems the best place for self indulgent ranting :) Though you will get to "see" me say the words 'sex' and 'porn" more than I probably have in all my other blog/lj posts combined.

So, there you go. Sorry I rambled on so much, it's the only way I know how to communicate! Feel free to tell me what I'm saying makes no sense or is deeply offensive, chances are I'll realise at least half of it is wrong. Also, I apologise to anyone who thought this was going to be about why I like Jen(*), but that's so self evident it doesn't need a livejournal post :)

(*)Or Genevieve, who none of you know and doesn't read this. She's pretty cool too.
