I realised early on this would take me FOREVER if I was all finicky, so I was rather slapdash. I think it came out ok overall though some bits are completely wrong (the perspective on the balcony for example)

Stargate Atlantis:the team explore the city -- somewhere high



The vid Welcome Home was very inspiring with it's "Atlantis is pretty"ness.

I decided to use Ford instead of Ronon since (a)I've never actually seen any Ronon episodes so don't have a physical feel for the charcater and (b) he's in the next prompt. Also I always liked Ford, I was sad to hear bad things happened to him :(

Still sick, but SO much better than I was.

That is so freaking awesome. I love it, with John slouching against the city in the background and the others all looking out over it in awe. The stained glass it such a nice touch, and I love the sunset and the bird.

I always liked the design of the city, but looking at reference pics it seemed a bit grey and lifeless so I decided to add some light and life. This vid "Welcome Home" was very inspiring.

Wow, that's really great! When I saw that prompt I couldn't really imagine how you'd do it but this is brilliant! I like the bird in the foreground and Teyla's expression.

It certainly took some pondering. I actually made a mock-up of the tower in Spore to get the angle right :D
