Wow I haven't done a general creative roundup since last year. Mostly because I haven't been feeling like making general creative stuff. What I have been doing is...A NEW VERSION OF [REDACTED] OMG.

The lack of enthusiasm for fanart hasn't bothered me too much since I've mostly just been putting that energy into finishing longer projects like SOON and Wedding is Destiny. But it's odd.

What is Wedding is Destiny? I don't remember you mentioning it.

It's a Mary Bennet/Anne de Bourgh fanfic that's been on hiatus since 2012 that I was recently inspired to finish. The full thing's 59K and the new content by itself was about 15K which is longer than almost all my other fics, so it felt like quite an accomplishment! Right now I'm going through it with my beta.

Oh, I do remember you mentioning that. That's a pretty impressive accomplishment. Picking something up from hiatus is difficult.

Yeah, I'd entirely given up on ever finishing it, though I thought about it sometimes. And then BAM, inspiration and motivation. So I feel less like I was dedicated and more like I was unexpectedly blessed by the whims of my muse :)

I really enjoyed SOON! The plot was entertaining and made me consider my choices without stressing me out or feeling obtuse, the characters were fantastic, and playing a game set in Perth was great fun. I posted about it on Twitter, particularly to someone who said a while ago they wanted more VNs set in authors' own locations. Thanks for making such a fun game :D

Wow, thank you! I'm really glad you enjoyed the game! And thank you for passing on the rec, I hope your friend likes it! It was a lot of fun setting the game in Perth, even if I had to fudge some of the backgrounds (there were mountains in the original background of the playground :))
