alias_sqbr: the symbol pi on a pretty background (existentialism)

I do mean to exclude Dungeons and Dragons etc, not because they're not interactive stories, but because they're not the kind of interactive story I want to focus on. I haven't roleplayed much, but afaict there's always a real-time give and take (as players discuss things between themselves and with the GM) which doesn't happen with pre-constructed stories with a single reader/player.

I mean we COULD talk about roleplaying, but I can see it taking over the conversation, and since that kind of storytelling doesn't interest me I would find myself feeling very alienated and irrelevant on my own panel.

Maybe I need a different title/subject: Non-collaborative interactive storytelling?
